Having worked many years in half a dozen bars, booking music acts as well as owning my own club, I've seen a lot of bands. These guys get it! Their music is great and they ENTERTAIN! NightBumpers exceeded all of our expectations. Their music had everyone on their feet dancing the night away, and having a good time!

And all four of them take the lead on vocals. Their set is all originals save one, “I’m Ready,” a Willie Dixon classic, which Jumpin Jack takes to the river. Originals include “Barn Cat” and “Love’s Gone Cold,” with Gary on vocals, playing his rare Ukelele bass, about the size of a fiddle and as resonate as a Fender P Bass.

These guys push the blues envelope. They take 1-4-5 arrangements to new territory, acting out the music as they play it. The volcanic energy of this band flows out to the audience, and reaches inside them.
